Welcome to PostalBoxGenie, a service provided by PostalBoxGenie, Inc. (“PostalBoxGenie,” “we,” or “us”). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of any modifications.

1. Term of Agreement

Your agreement with PostalBoxGenie begins when you sign up for our or partner services and continues for the initial period you select (“Initial Term”).

This agreement will automatically renew for successive periods equal in duration to the Initial Term unless terminated by either party. PostalBoxGenie reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause.

2. Receipt of Mail

PostalBoxGenie partner acts as your agent to receive mail and packages on your behalf. You must complete and submit USPS Form 1583 within 30 days of account creation to authorize our partner to receive mail for you.

If the form is not submitted within this period, we or our partner will not be able to accept mail on your behalf, and any received mail may be returned to the sender.

3. Mail Forwarding

Mail received by PostalBoxGenie partner will be forwarded to the address you specify. Our responsibility for your mail ends once it is placed in the care of USPS or another mail carrier.

We are not liable for delays or non-delivery once the mail is handed over to the carrier.

4. Mail Delivered to Third-Party Locations

PostalBoxGenie or our partner may work with third-party operators to provide local mailing addresses. These operators may forward mail to PostalBoxGenie for processing or hold packages for pickup.

Operators are independent contractors, and PostalBoxGenie is not responsible for their actions or any issues arising from their handling of your mail.

5. Undeliverable and Non-returnable Mail

If mail is insufficiently addressed, PostalBoxGenie or our partner will attempt to determine the recipient and deliver it accordingly. If we cannot determine the recipient or return the mail to the sender, it will be held for 30 days before being disposed of.

6. Handling of Cash

PostalBoxGenie or our partner is not responsible for cash sent through the mail. We do not create scanned images of currency, and sending cash through the mail is done at your own risk.

7. Your Forwarding Address

PostalBoxGenie or our partner will provide you with a mailing address to receive your mail.

You are responsible for notifying senders of your new address and ensuring it is correctly formatted. PostalBoxGenie is not liable for mail not properly addressed.

8. Mail Services

By using PostalBoxGenie or our partner, you authorize us to scan the outside of your mail and perform actions such as forwarding, scanning contents, shredding, or recycling based on your instructions. You are responsible for all actions taken under your account.

9. Downtime and Service Interruptions

PostalBoxGenie or our partner may occasionally take servers down for maintenance. We will strive to notify you in advance, but we are not liable for any data loss or service interruptions.

10. Service Pricing

Prices for our services are listed on our website and are subject to change. You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected service plan, including any additional charges incurred.

11. Payment

You authorize PostalBoxGenie or our partner to charge your payment method for all fees and charges. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment information is up-to-date.

12. Suspension and Account Locking

Your account may be suspended if your balance falls below a certain threshold and payment cannot be completed. Services will be suspended until sufficient funds are available.

13. Termination

PostalBoxGenie or our partner may terminate your account at any time with or without cause. You may also terminate your account, but you will remain responsible for any outstanding fees.

14. Services after Account Closure

Once your account is closed, you will no longer have access to it. PostalBoxGenie or our partner is not obligated to forward or re-mail any received mail after account closure.

15. Customer-Returned Mail

If you refuse or fail to accept forwarded mail, you are responsible for any return shipping and re-processing costs.

16. Service of Process

PostalBoxGenie or our partner may accept service of process on your behalf. We are not liable for any issues arising from such service.

17. Fraud

Use of PostalBoxGenie or our partner service for illegal activities is prohibited. If fraud is suspected, we may inspect your mail and terminate your account without refund.

18. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold PostalBoxGenie or our partner harmless from any claims or damages arising from your use of our services.

19. Disclaimer of Warranty

PostalBoxGenie or our partner provides services “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will meet your expectations or be error-free.

20. Representations and Warranties

You represent that you have the authority to enter into this agreement and that your use of our services is lawful.

21. Third Party Sites

PostalBoxGenie is not responsible for the content or services of third-party websites linked from our site.

22. Communication and Notice

By using PostalBoxGenie or our partner service, you agree to receive electronic communications from us. These communications satisfy any legal requirements for written notice.

23. Non-Waiver

Failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our rights.

24. Assignment

You may not assign this agreement without our consent. We may assign it without your consent.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PostalBoxGenie, superseding all prior agreements.
