What Happens If You're Not Home for Amazon Delivery?

Everyone orders from Amazon these days. It’s quick and easy. But what happens if you’re not home to get your package?

Amazon will make three delivery attempts if they can't deliver your package on the first try.

After three attempts, the package is returned to the warehouse, and your money is refunded.

Some packages require a signature. If you’re not home, the driver won’t leave the package and will reattempt the next day.

Amazon deliveries occur between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Sometimes, the driver will call if they need a signature.

If Amazon can't deliver after three tries, you’ll get a refund. If you receive a "delivery attempted" message but were home, contact Amazon customer service.
